Are Eiffel Towers scattered around your house/apartment?
I used to have an Eiffel Tower clock, pillow, lamp plus smaller versions hither and thither in my New York apartment. When I moved to Paris, I forgot to bring them along.
The Eiffel Tower is always lurking on the horizon line as a lovely reminder I now live here. Funnily enough Parisians love the Eiffel Tower as much as the rest of us. The surounding park is always filled with French families, lovers, singles, pigeons. The tower is an integral part of what makes Paris, Paris.
I moved to Paris and left my souvenir towers behind. Yet for my Paris letters I draw ✏️ this Parisian icon over and over in different iterations depending on the season or mood. Visiting the Eiffel tower from time to time reminds me of its immensity and the joy it provides. A wonderful tribute to the grandeur of the Paris we love so much.
